The Mannequin Challenge is the latest viral sensation to sweep social media, and now celebs are jumping on the bandwagon. As 2016’s answer to the Harlem Shake, Planking and The Ice Bucket Challenge, the Mannequin Challenge involves getting a group of people to freeze in a funny or difficult position while someone walks through the crowd filming.
Most of the videos are set to Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” with the new viral craze taking over Twitter and Instagram.
Today we’re looking at some of the biggest celebs in the world taking on the Mannequin Challenge.
Destiny’s Child
DC3 reunited for their own Mannequin Challenge, proving they’re still in sync with their moves, especially when it comes to standing still as Lauryn Hill’s “Every Ghetto” plays in the background. Could this signal the reunion? #PrayerCircleForDestinysChild
Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart was one of the first celebs to jump on the Mannequin Challenge, and if there’s one thing that Hart loves as much as comedy, it’s showing off in the gym. Thanks to his new video, he can now do both.
The Late Late Show With James Corden
James Corden and his staff put together an impressive Mannequin Challenge video that doubled as a backstage tour of the Late Late Show studios.
Adele
Adele and her tour crew used their recent show in Austin, Texas as the inspiration for their Mannequin Challenge, wearing cowboy hats, setting up a bar fight, and capping things off with Johnny Cash to complete the mood.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show
Bonus points to Ellen DeGeneres and her staff for incorporating a floating ping pong ball into their Mannequin Challenge video.
Stephen and Ayesha Curry
NBA star Stephen Curry celebrated the closing night of his wife Ayesha’s San Francisco pop-up restaurant International Smoke by enlisting the help of all the patrons and staff in a brilliant Mannequin Challenge video. We usually can’t stay still very long when there’s food in front of us.
Hillary Clinton and Bon Jovi
We’re pretty sure this is the longest stretch of time that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has stood still since the presidential election campaign began. We’d totally stand still with Bon Jovi, too.

Rae Sremmurd
Of course, we have to include the duo that has provided the soundtrack to the viral sensation.
Bonus: The BYU Gymnastics Team
The Brigham Young University Gymnastics Team may not be Hollywood celebs, but we think they deserve an honourable mention. This is impressive.
